Yaroslav Makarov was born in 1982 in the city of Pikalevo, Leningrad Region.  He graduated from the Faculty of Art and Graphics of the Cherepovets State University (2005). He is an author of works presented at solo and group exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Yaroslav is a creative graphic artist, specialising in bookplates. He is a Laureate and diploma winner of international ex- libris competitions in Russia and aboard.
His works are owned by museums and private collections (in Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Lithuania, Poland, Greece, Argentina,
Russia, Turkey, Italy ,Finland, Hungary, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Israel). Yaroslav lives and works in the city of Cherepovets, Vologda Region, Russia.
