Roberto Jose Nascimento was born in 1967 in the city of Recife in the State of Pernambuco, Brazil.  He works mainly in the field of woodcut. He started studying engraving in 1986 at CAC – Center for Arts and Communication of the Federal University of Pernambuco in Recife. He completed his undergraduate degree in Marketing Technology at UCB – Castelo Branco University – Rio de Janeiro/ Brazil in 2011. Soon after, he did Post-Graduate Latu Senso in Photography and Image at the Superior Marketing School – FAMA – Recife, Brazil.
