Gianna Alexopoulou was born in Athens, Greece, where she lives and works as an architect. She graduated at IUAV Univercity of Venice, Italy. She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. She studied jewelry at the Municipal Workshop in Aegaleo, Athens and presented her work in group exhibitions in Greece. She was awarded for her writing at greek and international Poetry Competitions. She attended engraving and woodcuting lessons at the Open Engraving Workshop in Nikaia, Athens ( operated in cooperation with the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece ), with J.Markaki, N.Dessekopoulos and R.Ilia-Anoussi as her teachers. Also, at the N.Dessekopoulos’ Studio, with N.Dessekopoulos as her teacher. She taught drawing in Secondary Education ( lyceum ). Her artworks are held in private collections in Greece, Cyprus, Italy and Japan.
