Born at Wuustwezel (Gooreind) on the 13th of November 1947. Fields of study: Ornamental Arts and Crafts at Technicum of Antwerp. Offsetprinting at the Urban Technical School of Antwerp. Graphic Arts at The Academy of Art Merksem. From 1969 to 1982 mainly free work in drawing, watercolor or combined, gradual switch to graphics (linocut and especially screen printing). Started making bookplates in 1982, mainly in screen printing. Since 1993, experiments with digital creations. But screen printing remained the main point. Since 2015 – for health reasons – only digital bookplates.

Participation at several exhibitions at home and abroad ever since 1969 : Antwerp, Brussel, Gent, Den Haag, Minsk, Trzic, Kronach, Mönchengladbach, Frederikshavn, Arezzo, Sapporo, Hong Kong, Taipei, Belgrado, Gliwice, London, Gütersloh, Chrudim, Haltern, Cluj, Esterwegen, Rome, Mexico, Bacau (R), Debrecen (H), Chengdu (China), Malbork (PL).
